What is the Clean Truck Check Program?
Clean Truck Check (CTC) is a new compliance requirement from California air resource board. Yep, another regulation for you.
It’s mandatory for all non-gasoline vehicles with GVWR over 14,000lbs.
If you aren’t already aware of it, you’ll find out about this program when you attempt to renew your DMV registration.
Instead of receiving plate tags, you’ll receive a notice of “incomplete registration” informing you that your vehicle is non-compliant with the Cali Clean Truck Check .
How to Comply with Clean Truck Check, Remove DMV Registration Holds
Create an account on the CTC-VIS portal at https://cleantruckcheck.arb.ca.gov
Add your vehicle(s) and pay the annual compliance fee ($30/vehicle)
